  • When will I receive my order?
    The estimated delivery date is showcased on each product page and in your confirmation email. Orders in London are often hand delivered. For any other orders, you will receive a tracking number on the day of shipping. We use Royal Mail and Packfleet. Orders may occasionally close early if delivery slots fill up. Please see our Delivery & Collection page for more info.
  • Can I collect my order?
    Sure! Collection is three days after placing the order in London, N4. More details will be provided in your confirmation email.
  • How is my order delivered?
    Orders are delivered via Royal Mail Tracked24 or Packfleet. You will receive a tracking number via email/text on the day of shipping. Please note parcels do not fit through a letterbox, so someone needs to be available to collect it.
  • What if I'm not home to receive my order?
    Our boxes don't fit through a letter box so someone should be available to pick up the order at the delivery address. You will receive a tracking number on the day of shipping and you may be able to redirect your parcel to a safe space or neighbour.
  • Can I have a delivery on a specific day?
    Yes, custom deliveries are available. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
  • Can I order a cake?

  • Can I buy a gift card?
    Of course you can! Click here to select your preferred amount. Gift cards have no expiry date.
  • Are your treats available for wholesale and/or events?
    Yes, they are! We love to partner with brands and organizations that celebrate a culture of equality, respect and intersectionality. Please take a look here first and get in touch to discuss.
  • I have an allergy. What can I have?
    Our kitchen is 100% vegan so our products do not contain DAIRY or EGGS. However, we use NUTS, SOY, GLUTEN and SESAME. Some items can be made without SOY, GLUTEN or NUTS but we can't guarantee that there is no cross-contamination so we can't cater to people with severe allergies. There's an ingredient list on every product page. Please indicate at checkout or get in touch if you require any changes.
  • Can I have a refund?
    Given the perishable nature of the items, we are not able to offer refunds due to failure to collect your parcel or mistakes in entering the recipient's address. Please get in touch at thefemaleglaze@yahoo.com if you're not happy with your order.
  • What does "The Female Glaze" mean?"
    If you haven't noticed yet, we love puns and we had to use one for our name. The "female gaze" is a feminist film term referring to the gaze of a female viewer. It's a response to the better known "male gaze", which represents the gaze of a straight male viewer and also the one of the male filmmaker. After being dragged to film festivals for years by my girlfriend, I couldn't find a better name for a project aiming at bringing together my passion for baking and our will to smash the patriarchy... One cookie at a time.
